What we collect

- Calls and emails — your contact details and whatever you tell us about your building or project.
- Customers and sites — contact details for you and your colleagues, site addresses, access arrangements, photos of the roof and building, quotes, invoices and records of the work we carry out.

How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, arrange a survey and prepare a quote.
- To carry out, manage and invoice the work you’ve asked us to do, and to provide guarantees and aftercare.
- To keep the records we need for health and safety, insurance, tax and accounting.
- To consider job applications.
- To keep this website secure and working properly.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for marketing unless you’ve asked us to keep in touch.
Our lawful basis
We rely on the following lawful bases under UK data protection law: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract; our legitimate interests in running and promoting our business and keeping proper records; complying with our legal obligations; and your consent, where we ask for it — for example for non-essential cookies.
Who we share it with
We only share personal information where we need to, and with people who are required to keep it secure. That includes our website hosting and email providers, IT and website support, subcontractors or suppliers where they’re needed to carry out your job, our insurers and professional advisers, and regulators or authorities where the law requires it.
Our website is hosted in the UK. Where any of our service providers process data outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries that don’t go any further for up to two years. Where we carry out work for you, we keep the related records for at least six years after the job, in line with tax, contract and guarantee requirements, and longer where a guarantee runs longer than that. Job applications are kept for up to twelve months unless we take you on. After that, information is securely deleted.
Cookies
This website uses cookies that are needed for it to work, and asks for your permission through the cookie banner before setting any that aren’t. You can change your choices at any time using the cookie settings button on the site, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to have it transferred to you or someone else, and to withdraw any consent you’ve given. To make a request, contact us using the details above. We’ll respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Keeping it secure
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including secure (HTTPS) connections on this website and restricted access to our systems.
