Plenty of older industrial and commercial buildings still have asbestos cement roof sheets. They’re fine while they’re sound and left alone, but once they start to crack, delaminate or leak they need dealing with properly — and safely. We manage asbestos roof removal and replacement to full HSE standards.
How we handle it
- Survey and plan — establishing exactly what’s there and the safest way to deal with it.
- Safe removal and disposal — asbestos cement sheeting removed by appropriately trained and licensed operatives, and disposed of through a licensed waste route with the proper paperwork.
- New roof installation — re-roofing with a modern, insulated metal or single-ply system once the old roof is gone.
- Over-cladding — where suitable, encapsulating the existing sheets under a new roof rather than removing them, which can be quicker and cheaper.
Compliant, documented, done right
Asbestos work is heavily regulated for good reason. Everything is carried out to the Control of Asbestos Regulations, with the right RAMS, notifications and disposal records, so you’re covered and so is everyone on site.
