Roofing is one of the highest-risk trades there is. Working at height on commercial and industrial roofs, often around live operations, is exactly where cutting corners gets people hurt. We take health and safety seriously — not as a box-ticking exercise, but because it’s how everyone goes home in one piece.
How we work safely
- RAMS on every job — a specific risk assessment and method statement for each site, not a generic template.
- Safe access — the right equipment for the job, whether that’s scaffold, edge protection, MEWPs or safety netting. Our operatives are IPAF trained.
- Accredited management — our safety systems are independently assessed through SMAS Worksafe.
- Asbestos awareness — trained to recognise and handle asbestos-containing materials correctly and compliantly.
- Tidy, controlled sites — areas kept clear, materials stored safely, and the site left clean at the end of each day.
Working around your operation
On a live site, keeping your staff safe matters as much as keeping ours safe. We plan access, deliveries and working areas to keep everyone well clear of the work, and we’re happy to work to your site’s own induction and permit systems.
CDM and documentation. We understand our duties under CDM and can provide method statements, risk assessments and insurance details ahead of any project.
