Older works buildings
On the older stock it’s usually a mix of asbestos cement or early profiled steel, multiple extensions with awkward junctions between them, and gutters that have had more patches than a pair of old work trousers. We’ll survey the whole roof, not just the bit that’s leaking, and give you a plan that deals with the cause — prioritised, so you can spread the cost if you need to.
Modern distribution and manufacturing sheds
Newer buildings tend to have composite panel or built-up systems, big single-ply flat areas, siphonic drainage, and often a solar array on top. The risks here are different: failed laps and seals, blocked outlets on huge catchment areas, and warranty conditions that need inspections to be done and recorded. A planned maintenance programme — typically one or two visits a year — keeps the roof and the warranty in good order.
